About this role
The Role
Rimon is seeking an Intellectual Property Partner to further expand and strengthen its IP platform. The firm is open to partners whose practices focus on patent prosecution, patent litigation, or a combination of both, as well as IP-driven counseling and strategy.
This role is designed for a partner who already has an established practice and wants to grow within a firm that actively supports IP work, rather than treating it as a loss leader or ancillary service.
The incoming partner will join a functioning IP group with existing partner depth, fully built docketing systems, and administrative support, allowing immediate focus on client work and practice development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow a partner-level IP practice within Rimon
Handle sophisticated patent prosecution matters, patent litigation, or both
Advise clients on IP strategy, portfolio development, and risk management
Coordinate U.S. and international patent filings and enforcement strategies
Collaborate with corporate, M&A, private equity, funds, tax, and real estate partners on IP-driven transactions and diligence
Contribute to cross-selling and firm-wide client development initiatives
