About this role

Senior Software Engineer – Corporate Finance Technology

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build integration solutions connecting vendor financial platforms with enterprise systems. This role sits within our Corporate Finance Technology organization, supporting integrations across capital markets, treasury, and financial reporting functions — with a focus on cloud-based integration architecture, workflow automation, and reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings strong Python development skills, hands-on experience integrating financial data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Acadia, FIS), and comfort operating in audit-aware, controls-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between vendor financial platforms and enterprise systems
  • Build automated workflows to streamline financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Develop Python applications and services for data processing, validation, and automation
  • Design and implement REST API integrations between financial and enterprise systems
  • Partner with Treasury, Capital Markets, Accounting, and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Support implementation and upgrades of vendor financial applications
  • Monitor production integrations and resolve data quality and processing issues
  • Drive operational efficiency through automation and process optimization
  • Participate in system testing, release management, and production support
  • Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Experience supporting integrations with financial systems and platforms, including Bloomberg TOMS, Acadia Margin Manager, subledger systems, FIS, Workday, treasury platforms, or accounting systems
  • Experience with capital markets or treasury systems
  • Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, web services, and messaging technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services
  • Strong SQL development skills
  • Experience with ETL, data transformation, and data quality processes
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating vendor platforms rather than building core applications from scratch
  • Experience operating within SOX-aligned or audit-aware control environments — including access management, change control, and evidence retention
  • Experience supporting integrations between ERP, treasury, and capital markets data platforms
  • Workday, treasury systems, Bloomberg, or related financial systems training, certification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working with data warehouses and reporting platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud integration patterns and event-driven architectures
