Reducto has raised over $100M from world-class investors including a16z, Benchmark, and First Round Capital.
The Opportunity
This is our first dedicated deal desk seat. You will partner with our Account Executives, Customer Success, Legal and Operations to get deals done, from working through commercial terms and the right agreements to signature, account setup, and the first invoice. We have already automated a substantial part of this process. You will own the day-to-day deal desk operation, maintain and improve the automation, and build new integrations as our products, pricing, and deal volume evolve.
This is an on-site role based in our San Francisco Office 5 days a week.
How we think about automation in this role
You use AI and automation in your daily work and take responsibility for the accuracy of the output.
You improve workflows as you run them, turning recurring exceptions into better rules, integrations, and guidance.
What You'll Do
Own daily deal desk operations, partnering with Account Executives on deal structure, commercial terms, and the steps needed to move each deal through approval and signature.
Review pricing, commitments, discounts, and payment terms against our policies. Identify exceptions, recommend a path forward, and drive decisions with the right approvers.
Ensure each deal has the right agreements and attachments under our contracting playbook, including order forms, services agreements, data processing agreements, and business associate agreements where applicable.
Partner with Legal on customer redlines and non-standard agreements. Provide the commercial context, clarify open questions, and coordinate with the AE.
Own the handoff from signature to a working account: billing configuration, provisioning, contractual account settings, and the initial invoice.
Maintain and improve our deal desk automation and build new integrations across quoting, contracts, CRM, billing, and payments. Investigate handoffs and verify that changes work through to billing.
Run the operational side of contract renewals, expansions, amendments, and true-ups with our Customer Success team, including moving customers onto new pricing and reflecting those changes correctly in their accounts.
Keep contract templates, approval workflows, and deal records accurate as policies evolve, working with Legal and Finance on the underlying terms.
Own deal turnaround and visibility. Keep AEs informed of blockers and next steps, and maintain the guidance that helps them prepare complete, accurate deals.
You'll thrive here if you
Have 5+ years of experience in deal desk, contract operations, or revenue operations at a B2B software company, with deal desk work at the center of it.
Have strong business judgment. You understand how a deal gets done, can explain the trade-offs in a proposed structure, and know when to resolve an issue within policy or bring in an approver.
Understand commercial agreements, know which documents a deal needs, and can translate signed terms into the right billing and account setup.
Have hands-on experience with CRM and billing systems (Salesforce / Metronome / Stripe)
Are comfortable configuring business systems, understanding how data moves between them, and troubleshooting workflows. You can point to automation or integrations you have actually built or improved.
Are hands-on and comfortable owning the function as its first dedicated hire.
Bonus points if you
Have run quote-to-cash on usage-based or consumption pricing — commitments, credit draw-down, overages — and not only per-seat subscriptions.
Have been a company's first deal desk hire in the past.
Have implemented or migrated a usage-based billing platform.
Have supported revenue recognition on consumption contracts.
