Position Summary

The Vice President of Operations & Market Leader at RealManage is responsible for leading all aspects of market performance, including operational excellence, client experience, associate engagement, and financial results. This role serves as the senior leader within the market, driving RealManage’s mission of delivering exceptional service to community associations while achieving sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Market Leadership & Strategy

Serve as the senior leader for the assigned RealManage market, accountable for overall performance.
Execute company strategy at the market level, aligning with national objectives and growth initiatives.
Drive organic growth through client retention, referrals, and new business development.
Partner with sales teams on RFPs, board presentations, and market expansion opportunities.

Operational Excellence

Ensure consistent delivery of RealManage’s service model across all communities.
Standardize processes, drive efficiency, and leverage technology platforms to enhance service delivery.
Monitor and improve KPIs such as client satisfaction, response times, and operational metrics.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and scalability.

Client Experience & Board Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with Board Members and key clients.
Act as executive escalation point for complex or sensitive client issues.
Champion a proactive, transparent, and service-focused culture aligned with RealManage values.
Ensure successful onboarding and long-term satisfaction of all associations.

Financial Performance (P&L Ownership)

Own full P&L responsibility for the market, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined cost management.
Partner with finance on margin improvement, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.
Ensure strong financial controls and compliance across all operations.

Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, coach, and develop a successful team
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure strong bench strength.
Promote RealManage’s core values and leadership expectations across the market.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with state statutes, governing documents, and RealManage policies.
Partner with legal and risk teams to mitigate exposure and resolve complex issues.
Maintain operational integrity and adherence to audit and control standards.

Qualifications
Highly effective ability to manage Directors of Community Association Management, Community Association Managers, and Assistant Community Association Managers
Highly effective ability to build and lead a team of professionals in terms of recruiting, hiring, training, managing, developing, coaching, and releasing employees as necessary
Highly effective ability to manage a large, complex portfolio of communities
Ability to manage the RealManage transition process to onboard new community association clients and closely coordinate with our Client Services Group and the client community during the set-up process
Minimum 3-5 years property management /community management experience in addition to other professional work experiences demonstrating leadership capabilities
Developer portfolio experience
Familiar with vendor management, construction, and maintenance issues
Understanding of Community Association business and financial statements
Ability to motivate, cultivate, and negotiate with committees
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Database applications
Strong organizational and time management skills
High integrity, honesty, and professionalism
Exceptionally strong customer service orientation
Certification preferred - CMCA

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
• Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
• Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.

Pay and Benefits

$120,000 to $160,000, depending on education and experience.

Salary plus performance bonus, commission and other incentives.
