We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our growing National Accounts team and help us deliver extraordinary service to our repeat clients across multiple markets.
Unlike a traditional market-based Project Manager role, this position supports an established national book of business. The Project Manager will work with clients and project teams across multiple geographic markets, helping provide a consistent experience from one project to the next. This role requires up to 25% travel.
What you’ll do: The Project Manager, National Accounts is a position of significant responsibility that requires a thorough technical understanding of the construction process, strong organizational leadership and an unwavering commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
As the primary point of contact for assigned projects, this Project Manager is responsible for each project’s organization, implementation and successful completion. Just as importantly, this individual will help strengthen long-term client relationships and support the continued growth of rand’s national accounts portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects for repeat clients across various geographic markets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors and internal project teams.
- Build trusted relationships by developing a strong understanding of each client’s standards, priorities, processes and long-term goals.
- Deliver a consistent client and project experience across multiple offices and markets.
- Oversee projects from preconstruction and design coordination through construction and closeout.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, documentation and financial management.
- Coordinate closely with rand’s local market teams while maintaining alignment with national account standards and expectations.
- Proactively identify project risks, communicate challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Provide clear, timely reporting to clients and internal leadership.
- Support account growth by identifying opportunities to improve service, strengthen relationships and expand rand’s work with existing clients.
- Travel up to 25% to support client meetings, project kickoffs, site visits and other project needs.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess
- A four-year degree from an accredited college or university, equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects through multiple phases of delivery.
- Knowledge of the principles of architecture, engineering and construction.
- The ability to manage projects and relationships across multiple locations and project teams.
- A client-service mindset and a genuine interest in developing long-term relationships.
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, building owners, property managers, consultants, architects, subcontractors and internal team members.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of construction-related financial terms and principles.
- The ability to conduct job cost and cash-flow analyses, prepare reports and manage project budgets.
- A strong understanding of construction contracts and related project requirements.
- Proficiency in Procore, including its Project Management and Financial Management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and an understanding of the schedule implications of project changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
