Quantum Systems Inc. is positioning itself to be a global leader in autonomous, AI powered aerial robotics. We have now stood up a wholly owned, and US operated business, Quantum Systems Inc., in the United States. This business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America. We currently have an opening for a Repair and Overhaul Manager. This position reports to the Senior Director of Production and Supply Chain.

The Repair and Overhaul Manager will lead a team that maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment. Operating with minimal supervision, you will collaborate with a team of maintenance technicians. Leveraging your expertise in overhaul and repair maintenance, you will oversee preventive maintenance, scheduled upkeep, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs. Additionally, you will take charge of guiding, mentoring, and training fellow maintenance technicians to ensure the team's success.

Responsibilities: 

  • To assess, evaluate, and conduct repairs, modifications, or overhauls on mechanical units returned by customers, ensuring they meet manufacturing specifications.
  • Utilize maintenance manuals, test procedures, manufacturing outlines, or blueprints as per customer specifications.
  • Accountable for assessing and estimating the necessary time and parts needed to complete repairs, modifications, or overhauls.
  • Identify selection and procurement of replacement parts as necessary.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and adeptness at following instructions.
  • Responsible for overseeing the timing, parts, and quality of work conducted on the unit, and ensuring accurate documentation of these aspects on all relevant paperwork.
  • Execute preventative maintenance and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in either electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly experience.
  • Electrical and mechanical repair experience.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D.
  • Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools and air tools as well as basic test equipment is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desired.
  • Must have basic computer operation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with employees in the Company.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Background Check/U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
