AV INSTALLER/VTC OPERATOR

MISSION:

Quantum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified AV Installer/VTC Operator to provide audiovisual and video teleconferencing support for the Office of Military Commissions (OMC) in the Washington, DC area. This position is responsible for the installation, operation, setup, and troubleshooting of audiovisual and VTC systems in support of OMC mission requirements, including meetings, hearings, trials, and other mission-related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide audiovisual installation, operation, and setup support for the Office of Military Commissions (OMC), Periodic Review Secretariat (PRS), as well as other organizations supporting OMC's mission. This includes designing, installing, troubleshooting, and operating audiovisual equipment for trial preparation, including mock courtrooms.
• Schedule, install, troubleshoot, and operate video teleconferences (VTCs) for the Convening Authority, including the VTC witness suite for all witness testimonies during hearings and trials.
• Coordinate with various organizations to test, troubleshoot, and install audiovisual IP streaming of court proceedings in the NCR regional offices, including the Pentagon Library Center.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support to OMC personnel for audiovisual and VTC Systems.
• Apply a strong understanding of audiovisual and VTC technologies to diagnose technical issues and provide effective, professional customer support.
• The Audio/Video Operator/Installer will provide technical guidance and recommendations to the OMC PM and courtroom technology staff while implementing approved modifications from OMC.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract requirements, mission objectives, and operational needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
• Three (3) years of experience installing audiovisual equipment in audiovisual racks, including BIAMP hardware, Crestron video processing hardware, and audiovisual matrix switchers.
• Three (3) years of experience terminating audio XLR connectors, CAT-5 connectors, audio Phoenix connectors, RCA connectors, and video BNC connectors. Familiarity with operating audiovisual software and touch panels.
• Experience operating BIAMP audio software, including adjusting volume levels, audio equalization, acoustic echo cancellation for audio transmissions, and updating existing BIAMP program files.
• Three (3) years of experience working with equipment from the following vendors:
  • Crestron
  • For The Record (FTR)
  • BIAMP
  • Extron
  • Cisco
  • Kramer
  • Shure
• All commercially acquired equipment used in courtrooms and by translators.
