JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

1.Fundamental Duties (L1 Activities):
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly routine checks and maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Perform machine 8S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) activities.
  • Handle simple issues including alarm confirmation/setting, material rejection handling, tightening of mechanical parts, and parameter/mechanical part confirmation.
  • Perform screwdriver torque calibration and common consumable part replacements.
  • Manage the replacement and calibration of glue, thermal grease, DPO ink, and screws, including barcode scanning.
  • Conduct electrical wiring and signal sensor checks for connectivity.
  • Manage network (SFC/HIVE/PDCA) connections and settings.
  • Replace common mechanical spare parts and handle basic air/vacuum pipe and valve connections.
  • Handle basic equipment abnormalities such as mechanism jams, pneumatic circuit issues, pressure problems, cylinder malfunctions, and vacuum generator faults.
2. Advanced Maintenance & Calibration (L2 Activities):
  • Precision Maintenance: Perform fine-tuning and replacement of glue needles and dispense valves. Execute key consumable part replacement and calibration, and manage P-film/press ink collection.
  • Mechanical Expertise: Conduct machine downtime failure analysis (FA). Perform key press head and gripper location checks and calibrations. Execute load cell fine-tuning and calibration. Diagnose and resolve fixture issues.
  • Electrical & Systems: Perform auto scanner and auto screwdriver setting, fine-tuning, calibration, and parameter optimization. Manage laser barcode readers, laser engravers, and OTA communication connections and settings. Disassemble, install, reset, and adjust related structural and electronic components. Troubleshoot and handle abnormalities related to control boards, solenoid valves, motors, circuits, sensors, and wiring.
  • Software & Controls: Install, adjust, and manage software systems. Resolve communication abnormalities between equipment components.
3. FATP manufacturing processes and Data-driven problem-solving capabilities
  • Understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, process flows, and value-stream mapping
  • Experience characterizing process performance using KPIs and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Proficiency in process capability studies and analysis, including Cpk and Ppk
  • Experience with measurement system analysis (MSA), including accuracy assessment and Gage R&R
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies, including decision trees, 5 Whys, and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control)
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) for process analysis and optimization
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, or maintaining industrial robots
