About this role
We are looking for a Founding Content & Growth Lead with 0-5 years of experience to build and own Pylon's narrative and audience from the ground up. You're a high-agency creative who has grown something from zero and can prove it — an account, a community, a following. Pylon has massive organic demand and an audience that's already watching; we need someone to convert that curiosity into conviction through compelling content and rapid experimentation. You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and the CEO. This is a founding role at a company on track to be one of the fastest ever from $0 to $100M in revenue.
What will you be doing?
Building and growing Pylon's audience across X, LinkedIn, and wherever the conversation is happening — running experiments to figure out what works and doubling down on it
Creating opinionated, attention-commanding content that turns market curiosity into conviction for both prospects and existing customers
Building AI-powered content systems (e.g., agents that track ICP engagement patterns and generate content ideas at scale)
Working directly with the CEO to build his presence and translate Pylon's mortgage industry expertise into content that reaches customers, talent, and investors
Running end-to-end growth experiments with full autonomy — hypothesis, test, read results, iterate — with budget and creative freedom to move fast

Culture & values
The company emphasizes deep technology investments and first-principles thinking rather than following past approaches.
Working at Pylon is presented as a research-like experience where you ship to intelligent, opinionated customers regularly.
The team leans heavily on each other and collaboration is essential when tackling difficult tasks.
The company aims to optimize for quality and speed without requiring performative long hours.
Ownership is encouraged: if you find something broken, you are likely the best person to fix it in a small team.
Employees are encouraged to push their own ideas into action more than at large companies.
The company seeks generalists who are smart, flexible, and enjoy digging into all areas rather than specialists.
Operating in a regulated mortgage space, the company moves fast but cannot break things due to federal and state regulations.
Know someone who'd be great for this?
