About this role
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform skilled maintenance and repairs in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and roofing trades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve building and equipment issues; ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Complete maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and fixture installation as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Prepare and update vacant units for occupancy by performing necessary maintenance and enhancements.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and overall facility condition.
- Communicate daily progress and task updates to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Respond to on-call emergencies and assist in incident report preparation.
- Support inventory management by communicating material needs and monitoring supplies to control costs.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including residents, team members, and vendors.
- Adhere to applicable building codes, safety standards, and Fair Housing laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Two or more years of general maintenance experience required.
- Painting or specialized trade experience preferred.

EDUCATION/TRAINING or EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of general maintenance experience required
- Painting experience preferred
