Episodic series / longform experience essential
Episodic Directors play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction on selected episodes on our 2D animated series. Working closely with the Art Director, creators/showrunners and Storyboard team, they continuously seek ways to deliver the intended vision whilst enhancing processes and adhering to production timelines.
They provide technical and creative leadership throughout pre-production, storyboarding, animatic and episode prep for animation.
Skills/Experience
10+ years of experience working in 2D animation and 7+ years experience in a similar role.
Ability to analyse and synthesize complex information and ideas.
Consultative, collaborative, global working style
Strong time management and organisational skills, working effectively to deadlines.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite and Toon Boom Harmony.
Confident presentation and facilitation skills.
Able to lead a client focused approach to deliver shows to their expected standards.
Effective leadership and management of large teams.
Written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that the necessary information is flowing across Production.
High degree of professionalism, maturity and initiative.
