PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Women's Health Clinical Nurse Manager.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
Works closely with the CCO and Regional Operations Manager as well as department directors to advance the mission and vision of PrimaryOne Health in support of nursing goals.
Provides clinical leadership for women’s and maternal health services ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards of care
Performs assignments from the WH Director/CCO and may make administrative decisions in their absence; collaborates with Operations Managers and Clinical Leads to ensure program sustainability.
Oversight of OB Intake, scheduling efficiency and effectiveness, WH referrals, and women’s health imaging
Collaborates with WH Director to serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex or high-risk women’s health and maternal cases
Support providers and care teams in managing care across prenatal, post-partum and maternal care
Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive and equitable care practices
Ensures business functions and processes operate effectively; reviews workflows and recommends improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Ensures programs operate within budget; monitors and responds to QI and financial variances.
Provides oversight for clinical policies, procedures, quality assurance plans, and work standards.
Staff Supervision
Ensuring compliance with clinical nursing care established regulations and standards including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical record documentation.
Coordinates regular staff meetings to ensure consistent processes and protocol adherence across the organization.
Supervise and support Women’s Health Coordinators and other assigned clinical staff
Conduct clinical supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations
Ensures clinical staff competency, team onboarding and ongoing clinical education
Collaborates with operations and WH Director on staffing models, schedules and coverage
Program & Workflow Management
Design, implement, and maintain standardized WH workflows across primary care, OB/Gyn referral partners, BH, and care management
Ensure effective care transitions including prenatal to post-partum, OB care to primary care and women’s health integration with BH & community services
Identify and address workflow gaps impacting access, quality or continuity of care
Oversight of Centering Program and Doula services
Quality Improvement & Compliance
Facilitate clinical quality initiatives related to WH and maternal health outcomes and collaborating with Director of WH
Monitor performance on key measures such as prenatal care initiation, postpartum visit completion, depression screening, and chronic disease management
Collaborate with the Quality team and Population Health teams on data review, improvement plans and reporting including elements of PCMH, CMC, UDS, and FTCA
Works with Managed Care Program Manager and ensures appropriate referral, including VB Care incentive programs
Successful candidates must possess a current State of Ohio RN license. BSN from an accredited school of nursing, MSN preferred. Minimum 4-6 years of nursing experience with training and supervisory experience.
