Position Summary

We are seeking On-Call Front of House Staff for Events to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a member of the FOH Staff, you’ll work at a variety of upscale events across Maine, delivering high-quality service and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. This is a flexible, per-event role ideal for individuals who value professionalism, enjoy variety, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Deliver professional food and beverage service in your assigned role — bartending, serving, or event support
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including dining areas, buffets, bars, and beverage stations
Work collaboratively with the full FOH and BOH team to ensure smooth, coordinated service
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and fellow team members
Uphold the luxury service standards that define the 58 Culinary guest experience
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Maintain a clean, polished appearance and bring a positive, team-first attitude to every event

Qualifications

Previous experience in a FOH hospitality role — serving, bartending, catering, or event support — preferred but not required
Strong guest service and communication skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to events throughout Maine
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Attention to detail and a genuine team-oriented mindset
TIPS or ServSafe certification a plus (bartender applicants with prior bar experience encouraged)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the duration of events
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25–50 pounds regularly
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing stairs during event setup and breakdown
Ability to load and unload event materials, equipment, and supplies safely
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions
Capable of assisting with event setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics as needed
Ability to move quickly and respond to the dynamic, fast-paced nature of live events
