Job DetailsJob Location: Native Maine - Westbrook, ME 04092Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/yearWe are seeking a hands-on Receiving Supervisor to oversee and provide day-to-day supervision for all operational activities related but not limited to receipt and unloading of inbound orders; warehousing and storage of stock, housekeeping and sanitation; safety, security and quality assurance for all work shifts. Receiving operations including, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. This role is responsible for efficient warehouse processes, quality inspection of incoming products, and ensuring a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely receipt of materials.
Quality assurance of inbound products
Adherence to all Good Distribution Practices (GDP’s), FDA, and USDA regulations within the receiving process
Supervise daily receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team.
Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and documentation of inventory.
Collaborate with internal departments to support production and material flow.
Monitor inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct routine training sessions for the Receiving Team
Conduct weekly meetings with the Receiving and Day warehouse operations team members
Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.

QualificationsQualifications

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
Forklift experience and familiarity with material handling equipment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
