Job Title: Food Production Associate
 
Job Summary:
 
The Food Production Associate is responsible for performing various tasks including culling, sorting, washing, peeling, cutting, packaging, and palletizing finished goods.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and assemble ingredients, including washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, blending, and weighing.
  2. Operation of handheld tools and equipment.
  3. Keen Vigilance upholding quality and standards is a must.
  4. Packaging finished goods, ensuring that products are securely sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment or storage.
  5. Perform routine cleaning on production lines to keep things tidy and organized and safely sanitized.
  6. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any potential hazards or concerns.
 
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  3. Basic understanding of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and HACCP principles.
  4. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow established recipes and production specifications.
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  7. Physical stamina and ability to lift to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet production demands.
  9. The work environment is in a cold storage facility; temperature range is 34°F throughout your work shift.
