Overview
Poly-America, L.P., a leading plastics manufacturer, is currently seeking a Janitor to join our team at our Pol Tex, Mont Belvieu, Texas location.
Responsibilities
Duties include the following with the possibility of additional duties being assigned as needed:
- Vacuuming carpet, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, cleaning walls and windows, emptying trash and recycling containers, replenishing restroom and break room supplies
Manually clean and use light commercial cleaning equipment
Execute cleaning in accordance with company cleaning processes and procedures
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE.
- Observe safety and security procedures
Report unsafe conditions to Management
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly preferred
- Experience with residential or commercial cleaning tasks including floor care and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to work on either a day shift or overnight shift schedule.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, non-temperature controlled
