Director of Sales Excellence

We are looking for a Director of Sales Excellence with 8-12+ years of B2B enterprise sales or sales leadership experience to serve as a senior player-coach at the center of Pointr's enterprise sales motion. You'll set the standard for how high-value opportunities are qualified, progressed, and closed — working hands-on with enterprise AEs to strengthen deal strategy and drive revenue predictability at a fast-growing indoor location technology company.

What will you be doing?

Coaching enterprise AEs on discovery, stakeholder mapping, value articulation, negotiation, and closing strategy for complex $250K+ deals

Leading structured deal reviews, challenging weak pipeline entries, and reducing late-stage deal fallout

Owning pipeline quality and forecasting discipline — making Pointr's revenue forecast accurate and trustworthy

Joining critical customer engagements, on-sites, and executive meetings to move deals forward

Defining the enterprise sales motion including ICP focus, qualification frameworks, and RevOps standards

Key Requirements

8-12+ years in B2B enterprise sales or sales leadership with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals

Experience in startup or high-growth environments influencing large, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities

Strong commercial judgment — pricing, discounting, deal structuring, and forecasting

Proven ability to coach senior sales professionals on deal strategy and execution

Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN)
