About the Role:
 The Receiver is responsible for managing incoming deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas for Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield. This role is essential in ensuring that inventory is processed correctly and delivered promptly to various terminals and service points within the airport. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

What you will do:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against invoices and packing slips.
  • Log deliveries and maintain organized inventory records in alignment with company procedures.
  • Distribute product and supplies to appropriate locations throughout the airport terminals.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve delivery or inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure all storage areas are clean, secure, and in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support inventory rotation (FIFO), stocking, and restocking efforts as needed.
  • Assist with general facility upkeep and provide operational support to other departments as required.

What you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in receiving, stockroom, or inventory-related role.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to transport product across airport property.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and with a team.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience working in an airport or transportation hub environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and shipping documentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety handling is a plus.
