Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant

Location: Premier Dental, Colorado Springs, CO

Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule: 1–2 Mondays per month | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Premier Dental is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to join our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a skilled assistant looking for a consistent, low-commitment schedule while working alongside an experienced oral surgeon in a professional, patient-focused environment.

Schedule

• 1–2 Mondays per month 
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM 
• Work exclusively with our OMFS team during scheduled surgery days. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment. 
• Ensure patient comfort and provide pre- and post-operative instructions. 
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation. 
• Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols. 
• Support efficient patient flow throughout surgery days. 

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous experience assisting an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon is required. 
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery instrumentation and procedures. 
• Excellent communication and patient care skills. 
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented. 

Preferred:

• IV Sedation Certification (preferred but not required).
