The Role
As the Director of Clinical Operations, you will provide leadership and oversight for health center and ambulatory surgical facility operations across PPSWO. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen performance, improve patient access, support regulatory compliance, and develop high-performing teams that deliver exceptional care.
What You'll Do
Lead Operations
Oversee operations across multiple health center locations and ambulatory surgical facilities.
Monitor and improve performance, patient access, productivity, and patient experience metrics.
Lead operational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation efforts.
Standardize processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Develop & Support Teams
Recruit, coach, and develop Health Center Managers and operational leaders.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Support workforce planning, employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development.
Drive Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, licensing, and organizational requirements.
Partner with clinical leaders to support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Lead operational readiness for audits, inspections, and corrective action planning.
Advance Strategic Goals
Collaborate with executive and cross-functional leaders to achieve organizational priorities.
Support initiatives that improve access to care and strengthen service delivery.
Utilize data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and operational strategy.
QualificationsYou're the Right Fit If You...
Have a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Have experience leading healthcare operations, including team management, budgeting, and performance improvement.
Have experience in an Ambulatory Surgical Facility (ASF) or Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) environment.
Are skilled at balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational leadership.
Have strong relationship-building, communication, and change management skills.
Use data to identify opportunities and drive results.
Are committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and patient-centered care.
Can travel regularly between PPSWO locations.
Bonus Points If You...
Have 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
Have experience overseeing multiple healthcare locations.
Hold a master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field.
Have experience in nonprofit, reproductive health, or community healthcare settings.
Are bilingual.
Have experience leading large-scale operational improvement initiatives.
