Service Shop Technician
$20–$25 Per Hour
PIRTEK Beaverton, the nation's leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement services,is hiring a mechanically inclined service center technician to provide onsite hydraulic hose repair in our Beaverton Service Counter location. No hydraulic experience is required—we provide paid training.
When a hydraulic hose breaks, equipment stops working. You’ll provide customer service in an equipped PIRTEK service center, identify the problem, build a replacement hose, and help get their customer on the road and running again.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical problems, helping customers, and working independently in a dedicated service center facility.
What You’ll Do
- Build, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses supporting construction equipment, trucks, machinery, agricultural equipment, and other commercial equipment.
- Provide friendly, dependable service to customers in the business service center.
- Maintain your service center work area, tools, parts, and inventory.
- Complete basic work orders and service records.
- Look for additional ways PIRTEK can help each customer.
- Follow company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Support call scheduling with PIRTEK Beaverton Mobile Technicians
- Manage warehouse inventory and general service center upkeep
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical ability and comfort working with tools.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems brought by customers.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, operate, and safely work around mechanical equipment.
Experience in automotive repair, diesel mechanics, fleet maintenance, construction, agriculture, heavy equipment, or industrial service is helpful—but not required.
Role Compensation
- $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
