About this role

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Ensuring optimal performance across various Fall Safety systems.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Service and Repair:Service technicians inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical Fall Safety systems to ensure they operate efficiently, and meet current industry standards. This includes performing routine maintenance. Replacing defective parts, identifying malfunctions, wear, and damage. Determine root causes, implement solutions, and then test functionality.
  • Documentation and Reporting:Maintaining accurate service records, including repairs performed, parts replaced, and logging customer information.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhering to industry safety protocols and regulations to protect themselves, colleagues, and clients.
  • Continuous Learning:Staying updated on new equipment, and industry best practices through training.

Skills & Competencies

  • Educational background requires minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, including familiarity with hand, and power tools.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and repair Mechanical systems.
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment. Must be able to lift 60lbs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Experience in fall protection or similar equipment preferred
