About this role
Responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, testing, and overhaul activities on production equipment, machinery, tools, and systems. This role serves as a technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment issues.
- Conduct equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and major repairs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation in CMMS systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve equipment performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related field.
- Advanced English communication skills.
