About this role

Responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, testing, and overhaul activities on production equipment, machinery, tools, and systems. This role serves as a technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment issues.
  • Conduct equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and major repairs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation in CMMS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related field.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
