As a Mortgage Banker, you'll play a meaningful role in helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Whether customers are buying, building, refinancing, or investing in a home, you'll guide them through the mortgage process with expertise, integrity, and exceptional service. As part of our experienced Mortgage team, you'll offer customized lending solutions while creating an outstanding customer experience every step of the way.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and creating value in every interaction.
Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial goals and recommend mortgage solutions that best fit their needs.
Present and explain a wide range of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, construction, adjustable-rate, portfolio, and secondary market loans.
Guide customers through the mortgage application process, ensuring they understand requirements and assisting with the completion of necessary documentation.
Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy and gather additional information when needed.
Analyze credit reports, financial information, and supporting documentation to evaluate loan eligibility.
Make informed lending decisions in accordance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and underwriting guidelines.
Develop and maintain a strong referral network with real estate professionals, builders, attorneys, CPAs, and other community business partners.
Actively represent Pioneer Bank within the community and identify opportunities to grow the bank's mortgage portfolio.

QualificationsQualifications for This Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping customers achieve their homeownership goals and committed to delivering an exceptional experience.
Successful candidates will have
A minimum of three years of mortgage lending experience.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
A proven track record of achieving measurable results and successfully growing a mortgage portfolio.
Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to identify opportunities to meet customer needs.
A commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and career growth.
A customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for serving others.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong business acumen and sound decision-making abilities.
The ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Wage Range: $40,000 - $80,000 based on qualifications
