Checotah Nursing and Rehabilitation in Checotah, OK is seeking a Director of Nursing!Medical, Dental, Vision and PTO available!
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising all nursing staff
- Overseeing department budgets
- Reporting to higher management
- Maintaining high standards of care for all patient
- Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
- Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
- Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
- Providing ongoing education classes
- Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Current, active State RN License
- Knowledge of relevant nursing care
- Friendly and professional bedside manner
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Multi-tasking skills
- Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
- Understands legal implications of patient care
