As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high store visual standards, promptly resolving customer complaints, and achieving personal and store sales goals to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.




What You'll Do

  • Guest Engagement & Connection: Meet and make connections with customers, ask questions, listen to shoppers’ needs, and offer tailored options and advice.
  • Brand & Purchase Experience: Inspire customers to buy, celebrate their purchases, and create a lasting positive impression of yourself, the Petersen, and their visit.
  • Merchandising & Store Standards: Maintain selling floor presentations, restock products as needed, and uphold high standards of visual appearance and housekeeping.
  • Inventory & Compliance: Receive and label inventory, adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines, and follow inventory control and compliance procedures.
  • Operations & Product Mastery: Master Petersen systems and procedures to enhance selling efficiency, stay up-to-date with product features and vendor pamphlets, and keep informed on active promotions.
  • Sales Targets & Reliability: Consistently achieve personal sales goals and maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.




What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar retail position.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Sales & Service Skills: Basic understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and hands-on experience with POS transactions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, energetic personality focused on customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to perform under pressure, resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Organization & Technical Skills: Solid computer skills, familiarity with inventory procedures, and the ability to store items efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work flexible shifts based on operational needs.
