Commercial Inside Sales Support

Summary:

This position is a hybrid position that will work from home, in the field, or at a Pella TN location, based on current needs. This individual will work directly with Sales Support Manager, GM of Commercial Sales, and Commercial Sales Team, supporting all aspects of the commercial process from beginning to closing of project.

Essential Duties:

• Primary responsibilities include performing take-offs, creating quotes/proposals, and assisting with bidding documents for commercial and architectural sales representatives.
• Timely completion of all bid qualification documents; insurance, bonding, and EMR requirements.
• Conduct thorough review of all new orders for accuracy/documentation, prior to order submittal.
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Act as liaison with Pella Architectural Services; managing variance, templates, design analysis, and shop drawing requests.
• Submit and track service/warranty related requests for commercial projects.
• Provide logistics assistance and other operational support functions.
• Assist sales rep with SalesForce documentation.
• Maintain/update a comprehensive project tracker, covering all open projects from order placement through completion.
• Handling of project close-out documents.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Pella Brand and 3rd Party products and local/international building codes. Attend all continuing education/training as required.
• Provide customer service to commercial/architectural partners via phone and email.

Requirements

Qualifications: Organizational, social, and customer focus skills are necessary along with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Attention to detail and general math skills are required along with the demonstrated ability to be creative. A high level of energy and confidence is also desirable. Some college, in addition to relevant experience performing the above duties are required. Training in software and product knowledge will be provided.
