Position Overview
Are you a creative communicator with an eye for design and a knack for organization? The People Development team is looking for a vibrant, detail-oriented Learning & Development Intern to help drive our employee growth initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative visual content, data and tracker management, and day-to-day operations—playing an active part in shaping our learning culture and crafting engaging learning experiences for the entire company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative & Visual Design
- Craft visually compelling presentations, slide decks, and digital learning assets using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Design engaging marketing materials, flyers, and email banners to promote upcoming training programs and workshops.
- Assist in formatting and polishing training manuals, asynchronous courses, and program visual aids.
2. Data & LMS Management
- Maintain and update People Development trackers (KPIs, Main Facilitation trackers) with high accuracy.
- Oversee daily Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including user onboarding/offboarding, course enrollments, and content uploads.
- Extract data, track participation metrics, and generate regular analytical reports on e-learning completion rates and program performance.
3. Program Operations & General Admin
- Coordinate logisitics for training sessions, webinars, and New Employee/Intern Orientations (scheduling, speaker outreach, calendar invites, and reminder emails).
- Assist in setting up tech, equipment, and visual materials for on-site or virtual training events.
- Support line managers in assigning new hires to relevant orientation pathways.
4. Facilitation & Ad-Hoc Support
- Provide operational and technical support during live courses, workshops, and company-wide learning events.
- Collaborate with the team on course design and creative brain-storming for new learning programs.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Development Communication, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Creative Flair: Proficiency in visual design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or PowerPoint) to turn raw information into clean, visually engaging materials.
- Data Savvy: Strong command of MS Excel / Google Sheets for managing trackers and organizing data sets.
- Tech-Minded: Quick learner with software and platforms; comfortable managing an LMS or similar internal databases.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
