Housekeeper
Located just a short distance from Lake Winnipesaukee, Summit Resort is conveniently situated in the heart of the Lakes Region, providing a beautiful setting with easy access to the region’s lakes, mountains, local attractions, and vibrant seasonal activities.
The Housekeeper at Summit Resort is responsible for three primary functions:
- Cleaning assigned guest rooms for check-in
- Servicing occupied guest rooms
- Responding to guest requests as they arise throughout the workday.
$500.00 sign-on bonus for Full Time Positions.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and ensure proper care of assigned uniform
- Review daily assignment lists and plan tasks for maximum efficiency
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned duties
- Ensure housekeeping supply bags, cleaning caddies, vacuums, and lockers are properly stocked, organized, and in good working order at the beginning and end of each shift
- Properly execute the four essential steps of room turnover: stripping, cleaning, stocking, and formatting
- Perform room-turn tasks consistently to established quality and time standards
- Notify the Houseman on duty when shortages or deficiencies in supplies or room resources impact housekeeping operations
- Identify issues requiring management attention and promptly notify the Manager on Duty
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and via radio
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete routine daily tasks
Rate of Pay
- Starting at $17.50 per hour, plus tips
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
