About the role

As a Production Associate (Powder Mixer), you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process within our food production facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and adhere to FDA regulations and food safety guidelines. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of basic math, and a strong understanding of food industry practices.

What you'll do

  • Package finished products according to company standards
  • Adhere to FDA regulations and food safety protocols throughout the production process
  • Utilize basic math, reading, adn writing skills for measurements and calculations
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Fabricate products following established procedures
  • Implement HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles
  • Comply with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
  • Abide by all relevant OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols

Qualifications

  • - Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and food safety practices
  • Familiarity with HACCP and CGMP standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
  • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures in the food industry


Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in packaging within a food production setting
  • Certification in HACCP or CGMP
  • Understanding of sanitation practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Spanish profiency encouraged but not required


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
