About this role
We are looking for an Education Account Executive with 3+ years of experience selling into K-12 or higher education to own and grow Pangram Labs' rapidly expanding education vertical. You'll be joining a 14-person team building the world's best AI detection technology, inheriting an existing pipeline, and operating independently to close deals across universities and colleges nationwide.
What will you be doing?
Own the full sales cycle from qualifying inbound interest to closing contracts ($10K–$80K ACV) across schools and universities
Generate your own pipeline — no BDRs, no plug-and-play playbook; you're building the motion
Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and coordinate pilots with academic leaders, administrators, and procurement stakeholders
Navigate education-specific procurement, budgeting cycles, and academic calendars
Help refine Pangram's education sales strategy and share market feedback with leadership
Key Requirements
Proven experience closing new business selling software into education (K-12 or higher ed)
Consistent quota attainment — ideally a top performer at previous companies
Self-starter who thrives without established playbooks, enablement teams, or heavy structure
Comfortable with full-cycle selling including self-sourcing pipeline
Must work onsite in Brooklyn, NY 3-4 days per week
