How You Will Make an Impact
The purpose of the Alumni Ambassador is to create mutually beneficial relationships among the students, alumni, staff, faculty. Alumni Ambassadors will work with employees from various departments to develop and share knowledge of the schools programs, related student and Alumni services, resources, and school partnerships.

Initiate and respond to emails and calls from prospective students, current students, and alumni
Provide the student perspective when meeting with incoming students and alumni
Promote awareness of the Alumni Program and services offered on campus
Encourage school spirit and student participation in campus activities
Utilize approved school information brochures, flyers, or outreach materials
Assist with planning, set up, and tear down of Alumni events and activities
Refer students to teachers, counselors, or school leadership when appropriate
Assist Alumni Manager with program related tasks that include presentations, testimonials, and surveys
Collaborate with other school personnel as needed
Provide regular updates on activities to the Alumni Relations personnel
Participate in meetings, trainings, or school events as requested
Stay informed of basic school admissions information
Administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
Qualifications
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to take and give instructions effectively
The ability to speak publicly and be an advocate for our schools and programs
The ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate of a Learn4Life school
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evening hours
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
TRAVEL: Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Mental Demands: people engagement
Finger Dexterity: using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together
Talking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly
Average Hearing: able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
Average Visual Abilities: ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machinery
Physical Strength: sedentary work. Sitting most of the time, and occasionally exerts up to 10 lbs. of force (almost all office jobs)
Frequent multi-tasking, changing of task priorities, repetitious exacting work required
Working in a noisy, distracting environment with frequent deadline pressures
