Deployment Strategist, US Government*
About this role
Palantir’s US Government team is hiring Deployment Strategists to work on our top initiatives and projects that have the direct attention of our CTO, Shyam. You’ll join a driven team of engineers, product designers, and fellow strategists to translate complex customer problems into scalable, data-enabled workflows that empower government partners.
What youll do
- Go onsite with customer analysts to understand critical questions and locate the biggest pain points.
- Identify relevant datasets through deep engagement with problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate data into a stable pipeline.
- Collaborate with customers to build bespoke workflows for new user groups.
- Lead training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and drives measurable impact.
- Present results and future proposals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
- Embed with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate field insights into cross-Palantir offerings.
- Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers.
- Scope out potential engagements in new industries and expanding locations worldwide.
What Palantir is looking for
- Experience with government contractors, military, defense tech companies, or tech projects with defense relevance.
- Experience working directly with customers to drive outcomes in a data-centric capacity.
- Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages (Python, R, Matlab, SQL).
- Interest or affiliation with political or government organizations.
- Strong CS fundamentals with an undergraduate degree.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Currently has an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one (US citizen).
- 3+ years in Deployment Strategist or data-focused roles.
