About this role

About Pabst

Nearly two centuries in, Pabst is still rewriting the playbook. We’re the team behind some of America’s most recognizable beer brands – driven by creativity, grit, and a passion for what’s next. We honor our heritage while pushing forward with bold ideas, fresh thinking, and a people-first culture. Because great brands are built by great people.

The Role

We’re looking for a Brand Manager, Emerging Brands to join our team in Los Angeles and take ownership of some of the newest brands and biggest bets within the Pabst portfolio.

You’ll be given the autonomy to run and build emerging brands, setting the strategy, shaping the product, building the brand, owning the launch plan, managing the P&L, and figuring out what it takes to win.

Think of yourself as a founder inside Pabst, but with the resources, infrastructure, relationships, and distribution network of a nearly 200-year-old beverage company behind you.

From early-stage idea development to full-scale launch, you'll partner across Marketing, Innovation, Sales, Operations, Finance, and our distributor network to build brands from the ground up.

We're looking for someone who's equal parts strategist, creator, and builder; someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves turning ideas into reality, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to make things happen. If you’ve ever wanted to build a brand from the ground up this is that opportunity.

 Why You'll Love It Here

Pabst offers the opportunity to work on brands with real history, scale, and cultural recognition.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building thoughtful programs, solving complex business challenges, shaping modern brand identity, and helping define how an iconic American brand evolves for the next generation of consumers. It’s also for someone who likes to have fun and is ready to be bold and think outside the box.

Flexibility
Work that fits your life – unlimited vacation, 9 sick days, 10 company holidays, and 2 paid volunteer days.

Great Benefits
Comprehensive healthcare plans, a 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, and more.

Great People
A casual, high-energy environment where authenticity is celebrated, curiosity is welcomed, and creativity is supported. It's a place where you can show up as yourself, take on meaningful challenges, and help build brands people actually care about.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll help shape the future innovation pipeline across the Pabst portfolio.

  • Help develop and execute long-term innovation roadmaps, from early-stage concepts through product launch
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring new products and brands to market through integrated launch plans and campaigns
  • Analyze consumer insights, category trends, and cultural shifts to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Translate insights into actionable brand strategies, marketing programs, and innovation platforms
  • Lead and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver commercially successful and culturally relevant programs
  • Serve as a voice and advocate for the brands across the organization
  • Represent innovation brands in retailer, distributor, and partner meetings
  • Manage brand budgets, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities
  • Champion both the innovation portfolio and the broader Pabst business
  • Take on new challenges as needed; because at Pabst, no project is ever too big or too small

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, innovation, event marketing, or project management
  • Beverage alcohol experience preferred; RTD or spirits experience strongly preferred
  • Experience launching new products, brands, or platforms is highly valued
  • A genuine passion for beverage culture, consumer behavior, and emerging trends
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and build alignment across teams
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&Ls
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • A positive attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and desire to build something meaningful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with syndicated data tools (Nielsen, Circana, Margin Minder, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet is a plus
