CDL Class A Driver – Tractor Trailer & Moffett Forklift

Pay:  $28.00–$35.00 per hour, Starting pay is determined based on CDL experience and experience operating piggyback forklift equipment.

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will safely transport goods and materials from Nova Stone Center in Ashburn and Catharpin to various locations while ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition. This position operates on both interstate and intrastate routes and requires professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to customer service.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer equipped with a piggyback forklift.
• Safely transport and deliver landscape and masonry materials to residential, commercial, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. Deliveries may require navigating uneven terrain, gravel, mud, slopes, active construction areas, and other changing jobsite conditions while safely operating Moffett forklift equipment.
• Load, secure, unload, and place materials safely.
• Operate the Moffett forklift during deliveries.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic logs.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and deliveries.
• Maintain assigned truck and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving history
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience preferred
• Moffett experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
• Ability to pass background and Clearinghouse checks
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs. and repeatedly lift up to 45 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Work Environment

This position requires working both inside a commercial vehicle and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Drivers regularly make deliveries to residential, commercial, and construction locations while also working in store yards and warehouses. Work may include exposure to rain, heat, cold, dust, and uneven surfaces. Drivers should be comfortable climbing in and out of trucks and forklifts, handling heavy materials, and safely operating equipment in changing outdoor environments.
