As a DSP, you’ll work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), supporting daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in a way that is engaging, respectful, and empowering.

What You’ll Do
- Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
- Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
- Follow care plans and goals
- Communicate with families and your team
- Complete notes and documentation
- Ensure safety and well-being at all times

Clients Needing Support:
Client 1:
- Male | 14yrs | 97266
- Schedule: Mon & Tue 3:30pm- 6:00pm
- Likes: Enjoys being kept physically active, enjoys swimming, biking, hikes, nature, walks. Likes lots of blankets and pillows and building forts to hide in
- Needs: Someone to help him with is daily chores (IADS) and help him with snacks and quiet time
Client 2:
- Female | 20yrs | 97233
- Schedule: Supports on Saturdays- as much as possible
- Likes: Client likes being sung to, read to, and played with. She likes going on outings, but enjoys when she is home too, wants to build trust so she is comfortable around new people, when she feels secure she is more happy
- Needs: Predictable routines and some new experiences mixed in, must understand her way of communicating, yes/no l/r/ when using her head to signal, helping her to learn to communicate with her devices, must be familiar with (or willing to learn) how to use a manual Hoyer Lift, or strong enough to lift 80lbs through the shift, must be comfortable with medication administration (will train)
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Smartphone required
- Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
- CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

- $24.00/hour
