About this role

 

 General Summary: 

 

Support the Trust Services Division Director and Trust Officers on assigned client relationships by assisting clients with inquiries and requests, including disbursements, discretionary actions, tax reporting information, account maintenance and information. Assist Trust Officers with new account set up and marshalling of assets and management of real estate assets, including insurance. Process client transactional requests for Trust Officers and retrieve and/or create operational reports as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -

 

  1. Assist with the management of real estate assets, including the placement 

of homeowners insurance, triennial inspections and the assembly of real estate packages for purchases of homes for Court Petitions for assigned accounts 

  1. Assist with the administration of assigned trust accounts
  2. Assist with responses for documentation for HRA/Medicaid for SNT’s
  3. Assist with annual account reviews of assigned accounts as needed
  4. Prepare trust account disbursements and discretionary action memos
  5. Facilitate new trust account openings
  6. Participate in client meetings and new business meetings as needed
  7. Oversee and assist with proper supporting documentation for trust client files for disbursements
  8. Follow bank policies and procedures to mitigate risk
  9. Answer telephone; take messages, help client if Officer is not available
  10. Create/retrieve operational reports as needed

 

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE:

  1.  High School Diploma
  2.  Two years of college preferred
  3.  3+ years of financial services and client handling experience
  4.  2+ years of Trust or brokerage operations experience preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  1. Highly organized and detail oriented
  2. Excellent written and oral communications skills
  3. Ability to understand all aspects of trust operations
