About this role

Software Delivery Analyst (QA & Release Coordination)

Location: Cork, Ireland (on-site/hybrid)

Type: Full-time, permanent

Experience level: 2 years

Salary: EUR35000 to EUR45000

Reports to: Director, Product

About the Role

We're hiring a Junior Delivery Analyst to be the glue in our product development process. You'll sit at the centre of how software gets from "built" to "shipped": testing new features, coordinating user acceptance testing with stakeholders, running our kanban status meetings, and communicating what's changed through clear release notes.

This is a role for someone organised and communicative who enjoys the coordination side of software delivery as much as the hands-on testing. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders every day, and you'll have real ownership of the quality and release process from early on.

What You'll Do

Testing and quality:

  • Test new features and bug fixes against requirements before they progress to UAT
  • Write and maintain test cases, log defects clearly, and verify fixes
  • Build familiarity with our products so you can spot issues others miss

UAT coordination and sign-off:

  • Plan and manage the user acceptance testing process for each release
  • Coordinate business stakeholders through UAT, chase feedback, and track issues to resolution
  • Own the sign-off process so releases go out with confidence

Delivery coordination:

  • Run our kanban status meetings, keeping the board accurate and the team unblocked
  • Track progress across the delivery pipeline and flag risks or slippage early
  • Help refine our development workflow as we grow

Release communication:

  • Write clear, accurate release notes for each release
  • Communicate upcoming changes to internal teams and stakeholders

Usage, support, and documentation:

  • Own usage tracking, monitoring and reporting on how our products are being used
  • Help cover support, including site configuration and user management
  • Keep the knowledge base up to date, writing and updating documentation as features change

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a QA, testing, business analyst, delivery, or software support role (or a strong graduate with relevant placement experience)
  • Excellent written communication; your release notes and defect reports need to be clear to both technical and non-technical readers
  • Strong organisational skills and the confidence to chase people for feedback and sign-off
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working (kanban or scrum, stand-ups, boards)
  • Experience with a work management tool such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar
  • A Level 8 degree in Business Information Systems, Computing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB Foundation certification
  • Experience coordinating UAT or working directly with business stakeholders
  • Exposure to AI-assisted tools in a delivery or testing context
  • Experience writing customer-facing or internal release communications

What You'll Get

  • Real ownership of the QA and release process, not just a seat at the table
  • A clear growth path: this role can develop toward delivery management, product ownership, or test engineering depending on where your strengths take you
  • Funded certifications and dedicated learning time
  • A modern development environment, including AI-assisted tooling across our workflow
  • Benefits: pension, healthcare, annual leave.
