Software Engineer: Core Marketplace & Exchange (Frontend)

Tradepost is building the liquidity infrastructure for the real world. We believe that everything you own should be instantly tradeable. Today you can trade stocks and crypto in seconds, but the things you actually own Pokémon cards, collectibles, watches, sports cars take weeks to sell, ship, and settle. Tradepost is closing that gap one asset class at a time.

We're a small team that's been in this hobby our whole lives, and we know what it takes to bring these asset classes to the next level.

We're a small scrappy team of hustlers going up against $10B companies to modernize an industry that hasn’t changed much since the dot-com era, and we’re looking for an engineer to join us as we scale our Core Marketplace & Exchange business toward $100M/month and beyond. You’ll be an integral part of shaping how everyone in the world trades and invests in Cultural Assets with the opportunity (and expectation) to make a massive impact on one of the fastest-growing products in the space.

Your Role

• Own Core Product & Exchange UI/UX: Take ownership of products and features across our core Marketplace and Exchange as we continue to ship, scale, and maintain the products already driving real volume.

  • Live Trading: Build the real-time mobile trading interface that powers the first instantly settled spot markets in cultural assets

  • Marketplace: Build the core buying and selling flows including order, bid, and ask creation, discovery, deposits, social, and more

  • Terminal: Build the most advanced professional trading tool in all of Cultural Assets used by market-makers and businesses to manage inventory and liquidity at scale

  • Growth: Optimize our current revenue-generating flows and continuously improve conversion and trust with our users

• Launch New Products: Help build and launch net-new businesses, never-before-tried products, and lines of business that will change the future of Cultural Assets forever.

• Understand Our Users: Our team grew up reselling and trading the asset classes we serve, and we want you to think like our users and put yourself in their shoes.

• Marketplace: Our first and flagship product where sellers can sell instantly and ship their assets to verified market makers

• Live Trading: Trade on verified and secured Cultural Assets instantly without ever touching the products

• Tradepost Terminal: Our Trading Terminal for professional market makers and businesses providing liquidity on Tradepost

Compensation

• Base Salary: $135,000 - $200,000
