DAS Technician II

Position Summary

Experienced field technician responsible for independently installing, testing, troubleshooting, and leading small DAS installation crews. 
This is a safety-sensitive position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety First – Put safety first and production second. Always.

  • Lead crews of up to two technicians as assigned.

  • Perform installation of DAS, Small Cell, and Public Safety systems.

  • Perform Sweep, PIM, Fiber, and RF testing per MOPs.

  • Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues.

  • Interpret construction drawings and RF design packages.

  • Mentor Technician I personnel.

  • Provide daily project updates.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 20–50+ pounds and work at heights, on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

  • Travel approximately 80–100%, including overnight assignments.

  • Valid driver's license required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 0–2 years of telecommunications or construction experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of wireless construction safety practices.

  • Ability to read construction drawings and follow installation procedures.

  • OSHA 10 preferred (OSHA 30 preferred for senior roles).

Position Type

Full-time 
Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime as required.
