About this role

Description

We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to lead acquisition process modernization for a Department of the Air Force customer. The centerpiece is an enterprise process model used across the acquisition workforce — you own keeping it accurate against constantly changing acquisition law and policy, training the workforce that depends on it, and managing the AI prompt library and AI-enabled workflows built on top of it. It is an unusual blend: acquisition policy depth, knowledge management discipline, and enough fluency with AI tooling to govern a prompt library responsibly.

What You'll Get to Do as a Senior Business Analyst:

  • Direct the operation, maintenance, and update of an enterprise acquisition process model, keeping it accurate against current acquisition law, regulation, policy, and approved guidance.
  • Incorporate approved updates, add new content, retire obsolete content, and verify documentation accuracy — routine updates land within five business days of approval.
  • Review newly issued acquisition guidance, identify what the model needs to change, and implement approved changes within five business days of publication.
  • Coordinate and facilitate government working groups that review planned updates and record approved actions.
  • Deliver on-demand virtual training to the acquisition workforce, covering both new-user onboarding and updates as guidance changes.
  • Engineer, validate, and manage the lifecycle of an AI prompt library and its associated AI-enabled workflows, keeping reusable prompts aligned to current guidance, model content, and user roles.
  • Ensure these digital assets support the actual work: acquisition documentation development, requirements reviews, guidance integration, process execution, and workforce navigation of the resources.
  • Coordinate technical collaboration across multiple Air Force organizations.

Requirements

  •  10+ years in business analysis, with senior-level experience directing complex process models or knowledge management platforms.
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or management information systems, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent additional experience.
  • Active Secret clearance (interim Secret considered with approval).
  • Deep working knowledge of DoD or Air Force acquisition policy, with demonstrated ability to translate newly issued guidance into content updates on a tight cycle.
  • Experience leading cross-organizational working groups and delivering training at scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) from IIBA.
  • Prompt engineering and AI-enabled workflow lifecycle management experience.
  • Prior support to Air Force or OSD acquisition policy organizations.
  • Instructional design or technical training development background.
