About this role

Offit Kurman, an AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support content and thought leadership initiatives. This fully remote role focuses on editing, proofreading, and publishing attorney-authored content, coordinating newsletters and email campaigns, and managing content workflows. The ideal candidate is a strong copy editor who is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable collaborating with attorneys to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread articles, blogs, newsletters, and other attorney-authored materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with firm brand standards.
  • Manage content collection, deadlines, approvals, and publication, proactively following up with attorneys and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft article summaries, blog copy, and podcast-related content, using tools such as Microsoft Copilot where appropriate.
  • Format and publish content across the firm’s website, intranet, and email marketing platforms.
  • Create newsletter and email layouts and maintain an organized content library.
  • Support award submissions by gathering materials, organizing content, and tracking deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on content and email marketing performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience, or 2–4 years within a law firm. Professional services backgrounds are welcome.
  • Strong copyediting and proofreading skills, with experience working on articles, newsletters, publications, or similar content.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence following up with attorneys, clarifying feedback, and keeping content on schedule.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with content management and email marketing tools.
  • Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, WordPress, SharePoint, or award submissions is a plus.
