You got into PT because you wanted to help kids move — toddlers taking first steps, kids learning to balance, teens getting back to the things that matter to them. At Oaklin Lane, we’ve built a place where PTAs are valued, mentored, and given room to grow. You’ll work alongside a dedicated supervising PT and a supportive team, with consistent mentorship and a clinic purpose-built for how kids actually move.

Oaklin Lane is your neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic — a growing network of purpose-built clinics providing compassionate, expert care to kids from infancy through adolescence. We believe in evidence-backed therapy where hard work feels like play, and progress happens on each kid’s own terms.

At Oaklin Lane, sensory integration is core to how we practice. All clinicians—across speech, occupational, and physical therapy—are expected to incorporate sensory-based techniques into their work with the children we serve. If you don't yet have experience with sensory integration, that's okay: we provide dedicated training and mentorship to help you build these skills and apply them confidently within your discipline.

What you’ll do

• Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed PT

• Help kids with positioning, transfers, and mobility using gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, or other aids

• Support the PT in implementing individualized treatment plans targeting strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills

• Document progress, activities, and observations in our EMR with accuracy and care

• Keep therapy spaces and equipment clean and safe

• Show up for team meetings to collaborate on patient care and goal-setting

• Keep growing your craft through continuing education

• Communicate clearly with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates

Who you are

You are:

• Self-motivated and mission-driven

• Eager to grow in pediatrics

• Someone who meets kids where they are

• A clear, compassionate communicator

• A team player

• Physically able to safely lift, transfer, and assist children during therapy

You bring:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current PTA license/certification in good standing in your state of practice

• Experience with the pediatric population or a strong desire to specialize

• Basic understanding of common childhood physical conditions and treatment strategies

What to expect

• Schedule: Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends
