About this role
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Hands-on OT, in a clinic built for the work.
Oaklin Lane is hiring a COTA to join our neighborhood clinic — a clinician ready to sharpen their craft under a supervising OT who actually has time to mentor.
On our Lane, you sharpen your craft
You got into OT because you wanted to help kids find independence — in the bathroom, at the lunch table, on the playground. At Oaklin Lane, you’ll do exactly that with a dedicated supervising OT and a team of COTAs who support each other. Consistent mentorship, a purpose-built clinic designed for how kids actually move, and the time to deliver the kind of individualized care that makes a real difference.
About Oaklin Lane
Oaklin Lane is your neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic — a growing network of purpose-built clinics providing compassionate, expert care to kids from infancy through adolescence. We believe in evidence-backed therapy where hard work feels like play, and progress happens on each kid’s own terms.
At Oaklin Lane, sensory integration is core to how we practice. All clinicians—across speech, occupational, and physical therapy—are expected to incorporate sensory-based techniques into their work with the children we serve. If you don't yet have experience with sensory integration, that's okay: we provide dedicated training and mentorship to help you build these skills and apply them confidently within your discipline.
What you’ll do
Deliver one-on-one therapeutic treatment under the supervision of a licensed OT
Guide kids on and around therapy equipment safely and confidently
Assess and demonstrate the use of medical equipment, including prosthetic or orthotic devices and mobility aids
Document sessions, assessments, and standardized testing in our EMR with accuracy and care
Transport kids to and from treatment areas using mobility aids when needed
Stay current on field advancements through CEUs and continuing education
Communicate clearly and compassionately with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates
Keep detailed notes on patient history and sessions
Mentor students and therapy technicians who come through your team
