Porter is directly responsible to the Resident Manager, Leasing Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Assist maintenance staff when grounds work is completed, or upon manager’s request.
Any reasonable request made by manager, maintenance supervisor, owner, or anyone placed in authority over you should be carried out accordingly.
Report to manager any and all damages to grounds or buildings by children, pets, and acts of nature.
Clean out vacant apartments after move out and before new move in as necessary.
Interior cleaning of office, hallways, elevators, lobbies, stair wells, laundry rooms, Fitness
Center, Pool Area and bathrooms (Summer Season), and trash rooms, etc.
Sweeping all common areas, parking areas, and walks as needed.
Vacuum Hallways
Clean common area windows, dust, and remove cob webs.
Empty outside trash cans and ash trays as well as laundry room trash, and mail room trash.
Removal of all fallen debris, and trash debris on property and sweep dumpster enclosures.
Monitor and remove graffiti on interior and exterior surfaces.
Repaint parking spaces and speed bumps as necessary.
Replace bulbs.
Snow removal
Respond to emergency calls
Qualifications
Must have proficient knowledge of English (read, write, and speak).
Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, push snow blower and spread ice melt when needed.
