Position: Medical Assistant Location: Eyeplastx – Primary Office & Satellite Clinics Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Clinic Schedule Management: 

  • Prepare patient schedules in advance to ensure seamless operations. 
  • Room patients, including documenting medical records with precision. 
  • Manage clinic flow to keep patient care running smoothly. 

Surgery Schedule Support: 

  • Scheduling & Managing Surgery Schedules 
  • Assist in gathering medical clearances and surgery scheduling details. 
  • Ensure patients feel informed and prepared before and after their procedures. 

Patient Communication: 

  • Serve as a liaison between patients and providers, addressing clinical questions promptly. 
  • Follow up on patient tasks to ensure their needs are met with excellence. 

Administrative Support: 

  • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR), team chat platforms, and shared resources for communication and documentation. 
  • Access and apply internal guides to complete administrative tasks with accuracy. 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities. 
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude toward traveling to satellite clinic locations. 

Preferred: 

  • Proficiency in using EHR systems. 
  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. 
  • Familiarity with oculoplastic or ophthalmic procedures and terminology.
