About this role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Processing Analyst & Systems Support Specialist to join our team. This role is a hybrid position, combining data processing, system support, and troubleshooting, with a focus on preparing clean, accurate datasets for analysis by other stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting various administrative tasks and activities to ensure smooth operation of our data systems and processes. 

In this role, you will ensure data is processed, formatted, and organized correctly, and ready for downstream analysis. You will also assist with administrative functions that support the team's daily operations and contribute to overall system efficiency. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data Processing & Preparation: 

  • Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, IF formulas, VLOOKUP, and data formatting) to process, clean, and structure data for analysis. 

  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy, organizing datasets in formats that are easy for other teams to work with. 

  • Prepare and validate large datasets for analysis, ensuring the data is properly cleaned and ready for consumption by analysts. 

  • System Support & Troubleshooting: 

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, resolving issues related to data flow, system performance, and data availability. 

  • Work closely with internal teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring data is available when needed. 

  • Database Management: 

  • Maintain and manage databases, ensuring data is stored in a structured, accessible, and secure manner. 

  • Optimize queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage. 

  • Oversee the data management processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis. 

  • SQL & Stored Procedures: 

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis. 

  • Understand and manage stored procedures, ensuring proper execution and integration with data processing systems. 

  • Troubleshoot and support batch processes to ensure smooth, error-free data processing. 

  • Administrative Support: 

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including maintaining documentation, tracking data system issues, and managing internal records. 

  • Support day-to-day operations by helping coordinate tasks, reporting, and follow-up activities. 

  • Maintain records of system issues, process improvements, and data-related changes for audit and reporting purposes. 

  • Assist with the preparation of internal reports or presentations as required.
