About this role
- We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Cairo, EG.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NodeJS and NestJS, as well as proficiency in Javascript.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices is a plus, as we aim to streamline our development processes.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
- You will work closely with the rest of the engineering team to design and implement scalable and reliable backend solutions.
- You will also work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in NodeJS and NestJS frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Javascript and its asynchronous programming model.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with relational databases, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
