This is a great opportunity for an experienced project management professional who enjoys working closely with clients, coordinating complex security projects, and taking ownership of projects from planning through successful completion.
In this role, you'll manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, design coordination, scheduling, installation, financial performance, completion, and aftercare. You'll work closely with clients, internal teams, installation personnel, contractors, and other project stakeholders to keep work moving and ensure commitments are delivered.

What You'll Do
Manage projects from initial planning and budgeting through execution, completion, and aftercare.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client decision-makers, project stakeholders, and contracted partners.
Serve as a primary point of coordination for project activities and represent Northland Controls professionally in client and partner interactions.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, specifications, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate project design activities and ensure required information is communicated to the appropriate project stakeholders.
Develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinating Northland activities with clients, contractors, other trades, and project partners.
Maintain accurate records of project status, changes, material flow, schedules, and other project controls.
Prepare and communicate project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage project costs and monitor overall project financial performance.
Forecast future project costs and identify potential budget or schedule impacts.
Track project costs, invoicing, financial progress, and other key project performance measures.
Coordinate installation activities, internal resources, and contracted partners to support successful project delivery.
Identify project risks, issues, changes, and potential roadblocks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with project teams to resolve issues and keep projects progressing according to plan.
Support project closeout and aftercare activities to ensure client commitments are completed.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting construction, security systems, technology integration, or a related environment.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from planning and budgeting through execution and completion.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and project controls.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
Ability to obtain the Security Industry Association's Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification within the first six months of employment.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Ability to work in both office and active construction-site environments.
Ability to travel periodically or frequently based on project needs, which may be up to 50%.
