Job Summary: The Joint Registrar will be responsible for the overall administration and operational management of the campus, ensuring efficient delivery of academic support services, student discipline, campus infrastructure, and administrative processes. The role will support the Campus Director in maintaining a safe, student-centric, and well-managed campus while ensuring seamless coordination with Registrar of academic and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities	Oversee the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the campus  Ensure smooth coordination of admissions, examinations, student activities, and academic support services  Maintain student discipline and oversee residential campus administration  Manage campus facilities, including security, hostels, housekeeping, canteen, transport, utilities, and infrastructure  Oversee renewal and management of contracts, licenses, and vendor services  Support the Campus Director/Registrar in implementing academic programmes and administrative initiatives  Monitor MIS and review the performance of administrative functions through periodic assessments to ensure operational effectiveness  Lead administrative teams and ensure compliance with university policies and statutory requirements
Educational Qualification	Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University  MBA and/or Ph.D. will be preferred
Professional Experience	Minimum 20 years of administrative experience in higher education or a comparable institution  Proven experience in campus administration, residential campus management, student discipline, and academic administration  Experience in reputed national/international institutions or a Defence Services background will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies	Strong knowledge of campus administration and operational management Sound understanding of academic administration and university processes Proven experience in facilities, infrastructure, and support services management Ability to maintain student discipline and effectively manage residential campus operations Demonstrated leadership, people management, and team development skills Proficiency in MIS, administrative reporting, and data management Experience in vendor management, contract administration, and service delivery Excellent communication, coordination, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

In 1981, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) established Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to meet the growing demand for management education. In 2015 NMIMS Bengaluru secured coveted International Accreditation for its management programs from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) UK and joined a select group of 8 B-Schools in India and 210 across the world and who have obtained the AMBA Accreditation. NMIMS – Bengaluru thus became the youngest B-school to have obtained the AMBA Accreditation.
As a result of the accreditation, under the AMBA nomenclature, the 20 month Management Program for Executives (MPE) will qualify as a MBA Program and the 2 year full-time PGDM program as MBM (Masters in Business Management). AMBA Accreditation is given to B-Schools who fulfill their rigorous quality standards in the teaching-learning process, student intake faculty intake, program and course design. The AMBA accreditation for NMIMS, Bengaluru is testimony to the vision of the NMIMS and the leadership team at Bengaluru in achieving global standards in a short span of time.
